Articles
Article
Manuscripts, including all references, appendices, tables, and figures, must be between 4000 to 7000 words (15 four printed A4 size pages)in length. Submissions that exceed this limit will not be accepted
for review.
Peer Review Process
TGIJ is committed to peer-review integrity and upholding the standards of review. Once your paper has been assessed for suitability by the editor, it will then be double-blind peer reviewed by independent, anonymous expert referees. TGIJ Review Guideline:
Step 1: Editorial assessment
Peer review follows a number of stages, beginning with submitting your article to a journal. At this first stage, the journal editor will decide if it is suitable for the journal. The editor might reject the article immediately, but otherwise it will move to the next stage, and into peer review.
Step 2: First round of peer review
The editor will find and contact potential referees or other researchers or academics who are experts in your field. They will be asked to read your article, and advise the editor whether to publish your paper in that journal
Note:
Authors whose papers are rejected will be informed of the reasons for the rejection.
There are no communications between authors and editors regarding the rejection decision.
Step 3: Revise and resubmit
You can then amend your article based on the reviewers’ comments, resubmitting it with any or all changes made. You may be asked to make further revisions or the paper may be rejected if the editor thinks that the revisions you have made are not adequate.
Revision Stage
Once the manuscript has been received with notations of minor or major revisions, it will be returned to the author with a review summary form. For manuscripts accepted with major revisions, authors are allotted two weeks to revise. Whereas for manuscripts accepted with minor revisions, one week is allotted for revision.
Final Decision
At this stage, the manuscript will be re-evaluated by the Editorial Team to ensure that the author has revised in response to the reviewers’ concerns. In this final decision, the manuscript may still be rejected if the author did not seriously conduct the revisions necessary.
Proofread
Once the manuscript has been deemed acceptable by the Section Editors, it will undergo a proofreading process to maintain linguistic quality.
Publication Confirmation
At this stage, the final layout of the manuscript will be resent to the author to ensure that the content is in accordance with the author’s writing. At this stage, the author may revise any typographical error found in the final manuscript. Once confirmation from the author is given, the Section Editors will process the manuscript for online publication on the website.
Anti Plagiarism Policy

If a manuscript has over 25% of Similarity Index based on the result of the Plagiarism Checker X, we will send back the manuscript to the author for revision.

LOCKSS and CLOCKSS Archival Systems
The journal uses the digital preservation systems of LOCKSS and CLOCKSS licenses for archiving through the OJS. LOCKSS is an open-ended program in which all libraries can participate in its global network. CLOCKSS is a global archive that preserves content on behalf of all libraries, publishers, and scholars worldwide.
Cancellation Policy
The author is not allowed to cancel the submission that is already in the review process because the cancellation or withdrawal of the submission is a wasted effort carried out by the editor or reviewer.
If the author still wants to cancel the submission (at any stage), they must submit an official letter of cancellation/withdrawal signed by all authors. The letter contains the title of the submission, the names of author(s), affiliation(s) & address, and the reason for the canceling. Cancellation letter sent to TGIJ Secretariat.
